Welcome to the life and journey of Odeather A. Bennett, PHD, LMMSW. Her objective is to motivate, inspire, and educate individuals on reaching higher than their current situation to become an enhanced version of themselves.
Odeather was born in a southern state in the 1940s, during the Jim Crow era. She faced discrimination and challenging times. At the age of seven years, she worked alongside her family harvesting cotton. A high school dropout at the age of 17, she nonetheless stood on the foundation of Jesus Christ laid out by her maternal grandmother and was determined to reach higher than simply being a high school dropout.
To that end, she earned a High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) at the age of 26. By her 50th birthday, she earned a doctoral degree in social work.
She has created CD and DVD learning tools, handmade therapeutic puppets for children, she makes candles and paintings and he has even written her autobiography at 80 years old! She is an accomplished woman full of experience and wisdom that she wants to share with the world. Her goal is to improve the lives of others.
